Kieran Richardson training with West Bromwich Albion

Free agent Kieran Richardson is training with former club West Bromwich Albion in a bid to build his fitness ahead of next season.

Kieran Richardson has taken part in a number of training sessions with former club West Bromwich Albion.

The 33-year-old has been without a club for 18 months, with the left-sided player last representing Cardiff City midway through the 2016-17 campaign.

However, Richardson is looking to find himself a club for the new season and has started to train with the Baggies, who he played for during the second half of 2004-05.

The ex-England international made an appearance during West Brom's friendly fixture at Barnet at the weekend and is expected to continue to train with the rest of the squad.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the West Midlands outfit are not considering offering Richardson a contract at this time.
