Rylan Clark-Neal is forced to pull out of Strictly It Takes Two and his Radio 2 show for the next fortnight after entering coronavirus isolation.

Rylan Clark-Neal will miss the next fortnight of Strictly It Takes Two and his Radio 2 show after being forced into coronavirus isolation.

The 32-year-old has personally tested negative for COVID-19 but after coming into contact with someone that has tested positive, government rules require him to quarantine for two weeks.

"I found out this week that someone I have been in recent contact with outside of work has tested positive for coronavirus," he wrote on Instagram.

"I am therefore now following the government guidelines and having to self isolate.

"I have sought a Covid test and thankfully that has returned a negative result. That does mean I will miss the next two weeks of Strictly It Takes Two and my BBC Radio 2 Saturday show.

"I look forward to being back soon and wish all the couples good luck for this weekend."

Clark-Neal news came just before the announcement that Nicola Adams has been forced to withdraw from this year's Strictly after pro partner Katya Jones tested positive for coronavirus.
