Manchester City are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku.

The Citizens are expected to be in the market for a new striker at the end of the 2020-21 campaign, with the club's all-time leading goalscorer Sergio Aguero potentially leaving on a free transfer.

According to The Telegraph, City are prepared to spend £200m in the summer window to improve their squad, and Lukaku has been identified as a potential target in the final third of the field.

The 27-year-old scored 42 goals in 96 appearances for Manchester United between 2017 and 2019 before joining Inter, where he has been in excellent form.

The Belgium international has netted 51 times in just 73 outings for the Italian giants, including 17 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions during the 2020-21 campaign.

City are allegedly not prepared to hand Aguero a new contract at the club until the Argentine, who has struggled with injuries during the current season, proves his fitness.
