Manchester United could reportedly attempt to move on as many as seven players in the final stages of the January transfer window.

The Red Devils completed a move for teenage attacker Amad Diallo earlier this month but are not expected to be active in the market in terms of signing any new players before the deadline.

However, according to The Mirror, there are currently seven players at risk of leaving the club, with head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to trim his squad for the final months of the 2020-21 campaign.

The report claims that Jesse Lingard, Marcos Rojo, Sergio Romero, Juan Mata, Phil Jones, Brandon Williams and Daniel James are currently viewed as surplus to requirements.

Mata, Williams and James have been involved during stages of the season, but Lingard has struggled for action, while Rojo, Romero and Jones have not made a single appearance between them this term.

United returned to the top of the Premier League table on Wednesday night courtesy of a 2-1 victory at Fulham, with Paul Pogba scoring the winner at Craven Cottage.
