St Johnstone vs. Aberdeen (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

St Johnstone return to Scottish Premiership action after their weekend League Cup exploits, welcoming Aberdeen to McDiarmid Park on Wednesday evening.

Dons boss Derek McInnes relieved some of the pressure on his shoulders with a 2-0 win at Motherwell last time out and will want his team to build on that victory.

We say: St Johnstone 1-2 Aberdeen

We suspect that tired legs and a League Cup hangover may affect St Johnstone this Wednesday, and Aberdeen will edge a close game 2-1.

Aberdeen have not been in the kind of disastrous form that some of their fans seem to think they have been, and this will be another important three points for the Dons.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Ross County vs. Motherwell (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

Ross County welcome Motherwell to Dingwall on Wednesday evening for a Scottish Premiership relegation battle.

The Staggies have enjoyed contrasting results in their last two outings, while the Steelmen have not enjoyed the taste of victory since October.

We say: Ross County 2-0 Motherwell

Our prediction for this game is that the home side will enjoy a relatively comfortable victory, winning 2-0.

Motherwell just cannot win a game at the moment, and seem to be a team beset by bad luck, so home advantage should be enough to help Hughes's side over the winning line.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a draw or an away win.

Dundee Utd vs. St Mirren (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

Dundee United welcome St Mirren to Tannadice on Wednesday for what should be an interesting clash between two mid-table Scottish Premiership teams.

The Buddies head into the match after a disappointing League Cup semi-final loss to Livingston on Sunday while the Terrors have not managed to win in their last five games.

We say: Dundee United 1-1 St Mirren

Given Dundee United's recent run of tied games, we think another draw is likely on Wednesday evening at Tannadice.

We predict a 1-1 result in what could well be a pretty underwhelming game, with the Saints tired after Sunday's League Cup disappointment.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Hibernian vs. Rangers (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Rangers travel to Easter Road on Wednesday night where they will face a Hibernian side who have won only one of their last five Scottish Premiership matches.

The Gers, meanwhile, have scored a total of 66 goals and conceded just seven times in the top flight this campaign, and continue to impress as they search for their 24th league victory.

We say: Hibernian 0-2 Rangers

Hibernian boss Jack Ross will be keen for his side to bounce back from last weekend's defeat with a positive performance and result on Wednesday night. However, they face a rampant Rangers side who are closing in on their first top-flight title in 10 years.

The Gers should have enough to get the job done and win comfortably at Easter Road.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Livingston vs. Kilmarnock (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Livingston bounce back to earth this Wednesday after their League Cup semi-final triumph over St Mirren at the weekend, welcoming Kilmarnock to West Lothian in the Scottish Premiership.

Livi are now up to fifth in the league table after a remarkable run of good form since David Martindale took over as manager, and Killie will not find this game easy.

We say: Livingston 1-0 Kilmarnock

Livi look unstoppable at the moment under the leadership of Martindale, and we expect their good run to continue against Killie with a 1-0 win.

Although the Lions may have some tired legs in the squad after Sunday, they also possess supreme confidence at the moment, and that should be sufficient to take them to a narrow victory over a team that struggles away from Rugby Park.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Celtic vs. Hamilton (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Celtic head into their Scottish Premiership encounter with Hamilton Academical on Wednesday night hoping to end their run of four matches without a league victory.

Meanwhile, the Accies continue to struggle at the wrong end of the table and head to Celtic Park having lost each of their last nine visits away against the Hoops.

We say: Celtic 4-1 Hamilton Academical

Celtic cannot afford to drop any more points if they are to close the gap to rivals Rangers. The Hoops will be determined to end their poor run of form and should win comfortably against the Accies on Wednesday night.

Our tipster partners are predicting a draw.
