Sports Mole rounds up all of Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's FA Cup showdown with Cheltenham Town.

Manchester City continue their quest for FA Cup glory on Saturday when they make the journey to League Two side Cheltenham Town for the fourth round.

Pep Guardiola's men go into this game on the back of a 2-0 win over Aston Villa in the top flight, with Ilkay Gundogan netting from the spot after Bernardo Silva's controversial opener at the Etihad Stadium.

That result sees City remain two points adrift of leaders and bitter rivals Manchester United in the Premier League, and they advanced to the fourth round of the FA Cup with a resounding 3-0 win over Birmingham City earlier this month.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Man City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's game.

Kevin De Bruyne

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscular
Possible return date: Unknown

Kevin De Bruyne lasted just under an hour against Villa before being forced off with an apparent muscular issue in his leg. Guardiola has now confirmed that the playmaker has indeed suffered a hamstring injury and will be out for the next four to six weeks.

Kyle Walker

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: January 26 (vs. West Bromwich Albion)

Kyle Walker was another casualty of Wednesday's win over Villa, as he had to leave the field after 28 minutes following a collision with Jack Grealish. The right-back has been ruled out of this game but could return in time to face West Brom next week.

Sergio Aguero

Status: Out
Type of injury: Coronavirus
Possible return date: Unknown

Sergio Aguero has been self-isolating ever since coming into close contact with a COVID-positive individual, and the striker confirmed on Thursday that he has now contracted the virus, ruling him out of this game.

Aymeric Laporte

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: January 23 (vs. Cheltenham)

Aymeric Laporte has been put through his paces on the training pitches after recovering from a hamstring problem, but he was not passed fit for Wednesday's game. However, the French centre-back is thought to have a good chance of returning here.

Nathan Ake

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscular
Possible return date: Unknown

Laporte's fellow centre-back Nathan Ake continues to nurse a muscular problem, and while the extent of his injury is unclear, a comeback this weekend is unlikely.

MANCHESTER CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

Man City have no players suspended for Saturday's fixture.
