West Ham United poised to push through Carlos Sanchez deal?

A report claims that West Ham United have made Fiorentina midfielder Carlos Sanchez their 11th signing of a busy summer.

Fiorentina midfielder Carlos Sanchez reportedly passed a medical and agreed personal terms with West Ham United prior to this evening's 5pm transfer deadline.

The Hammers were keen to get a deal over the line for the 32-year-old, who featured three times for Colombia at this summer's World Cup.

According to Sky Sports News, Sanchez has put pen to paper in time to be officially registered by United, although it is unknown whether it is a permanent deal or an initial loan.

If the move is sanctioned, the former Aston Villa man will become West Ham's 11th and final signing of a busy summer under new boss Manuel Pellegrini.

Sanchez is expected to provide cover for Pedro Obiang and Declan Rice this coming season.
