Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Championship fixtures, including Sheffield United vs. Burnley.

Sheff Utd vs. Burnley (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Sheffield United and Burnley will square off at Bramall Lane on Saturday in an important game at the top end of the Championship table.

Following back-to-back wins, the hosts sit third in England's second tier, six points worse off than their visitors who maintained their healthy lead at the summit of the division with a dramatic win over Rotherham United in midweek.

We say: Sheffield United 1-1 Burnley

Burnley make the trip to Bramall Lane in a formidable run of form, but they face one of their toughest tests so far against a strong Blades side who have regained some momentum with consecutive wins on the road, and we anticipate a share of the spoils as a result with both sides boasting some of the league's best records at both ends of the pitch.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Blackburn vs. Huddersfield (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Blackburn Rovers play host to Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon still sitting in second place in the Championship standings despite suffering an eighth defeat of the season in midweek.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield, who have recorded just two more losses than their hosts, are bottom and sit five points adrift of safety.

We say: Blackburn Rovers 2-1 Huddersfield Town

With Huddersfield having shown signs of improvements in recent weeks, this may prove to be a more competitive fixture than many are anticipating. Nevertheless, we cannot look past Rovers at their home ground, leading us to predict a hard-fought victory by the odd goal in three.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Blackpool vs. Luton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Luton Town will look to end a three-game winless run and climb back towards the top six of the Championship table on Saturday, when they travel to Bloomfield Road to take on Blackpool.

Back-to-back draws have seen the Hatters drop to 10th spot, while their hosts sit 16th following a defeat to West Bromwich Albion in midweek.

We say: Blackpool 2-1 Luton Town

While Luton have impressed throughout the season, Michael Appleton's men arguably meet the Hatters at a good time, and with home advantage and plenty of attacking threat, we back the Tangerines to triumph on Saturday against their out-of-sorts visitors.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Middlesbrough vs. Bristol City (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Middlesbrough play host to Bristol City on Saturday afternoon with the opportunity to move above their opponents in the Championship standings.

Although Boro have spent much of the campaign in and around the relegation zone, Michael Carrick's team can move ahead of their 16th-placed opponents with victory at the Riverside Stadium.

We say: Middlesbrough 2-1 Bristol City

Given Bristol City's long-standing inconsistency, they may very well travel to the North-East and pull off a shock win. However, we feel that Boro could improve quickly under Carrick, leading us to predict a home win, albeit in nervy circumstances.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Millwall vs. Hull City (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Liam Rosenior's reign as Hull City manager will begin with a trip to Millwall for a Championship contest on Saturday.

The new boss arrives with the Tigers hovering above the relegation zone after consecutive defeats, while their hosts sit ninth and within touching distance of the playoff places.

We say: Millwall 1-1 Hull City

We anticipate Rosenior's appointment being a breath of fresh air in the Hull City camp, and combining that with the quality in the Tigers' squad, they should have enough to come out of a difficult away trip with a creditable point at the weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

QPR vs. West Brom (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Queens Park Rangers could move back inside the automatic promotion places of the Championship with a win on Saturday as Carlos Corberan's West Bromwich Albion visit West London.

The R's shared the points at Carrow Road with fellow promotion chasers Norwich City on Wednesday night, whereas 24 hours earlier West Brom earned only their third win of the season at home to Blackpool.

We say: Queens Park Rangers 2-0 West Bromwich Albion

QPR have failed to win in their last two games but a home fixture against a struggling West Brom will be perceived as a good opportunity to get back to winning ways, especially if talisman Willock starts after his return from a hamstring injury.

Corberan's Baggies will be feeling more confident after that win on Tuesday against Blackpool, but a trip to face Beale's R's will be a totally different challenge that we expect to get the better of them on this occasion.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Rotherham vs. Norwich (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Rotherham United will be keen to put midweek heartbreak at Burnley behind them as they host promotion-chasing Norwich City in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

The Millers are winless in their last four and are beginning to slip back to a position where most expected them to be this season, whereas Norwich are firmly in the automatic promotion hunt despite only managing to get a point out of Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday night.

We say: Rotherham United 1-3 Norwich City

Norwich were held by a good QPR side on Wednesday night but will head to Yorkshire this weekend desperate for all three points in order to keep up with the form of their automatic promotion rivals.

Rotherham gave so much only to lose late on at Burnley in the week, and you feel another tough assignment against a good footballing team may prove too much for Taylor's men this time out.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Stoke vs. Birmingham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Stoke City will be on the hunt for back-to-back victories when they host Birmingham City in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

The Potters ended a three-match losing run with a narrow win at Wigan Athletic in the week, whereas Birmingham were held to a goalless draw by Millwall at St Andrew's in a cagey affair.

We say: Stoke City 1-1 Birmingham City

Stoke are enduring an indifferent start to their Championship campaign and will be looking to improve their home form in order to climb up the standings, starting with a positive result against Birmingham.

Birmingham have been a hard nut to crack for most opponents so far this season and will be confident in collecting at least a point on their travels this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Sunderland vs. Cardiff (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Sunderland play host to Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon with the opportunity to move into the top 10 of the Championship standings.

However, 18th-placed Cardiff are just three points adrift of their hosts, highlighting the current small margin for error in the second tier of English football.

We say: Sunderland 1-0 Cardiff City

Having lost in midweek, we do not expect the most attack-minded of performances from Cardiff. At a time when Sunderland have not always found goals easy to come by, one strike may be enough for the Black Cats to emerge victorious at the Stadium of Light.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Swansea vs. Wigan (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Swansea City head into Saturday's Championship fixture with Wigan Athletic looking for the victory which may move the club back into the playoff places.

At a time when the Welsh side occupy seventh spot in the standings, Wigan have dropped into the relegation zone courtesy of five successive defeats.

We say: Swansea City 2-1 Wigan Athletic

Wigan make the long trip to South Wales aware that they can ill-afford to continue along their current run if they wish to avoid a relegation battle. Nevertheless, after two away trips in succession, we are backing Swansea to get back on track at their home ground, starting quickly and seeing out the rest of the contest.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Watford vs. Coventry (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Watford will be looking to extend their winning run in the Championship to four consecutive games when Coventry City visit Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon.

Both sides have improved their form of late and both enjoyed victories in their most recent league fixtures, with Watford defeating Cardiff City and Coventry seeing off Blackburn Rovers.

We say: Watford 2-0 Coventry City

After an early-season wobble, Watford are beginning to show why they were promotion favourites at the start of the season as they look to secure an immediate return to the Premier League under the new stewardship of Bilic.

Coventry have enjoyed a good run of form recently, but it is hard to back against the hosts at Vicarage Road on Saturday after they have recorded convincing home wins against Norwich City and Luton most recently.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
