Ralf Rangnick's arrival as Manchester United interim manager could lead to Paul Pogba signing a new deal at the club, according to a report.

Paul Pogba is reportedly looking forward to playing under new Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick and could now be ready to perform a U-turn on his future.

The France international, who is currently on the sidelines with a thigh problem, only has little over six months left to run on his contract with the 20-time English champions.

Pogba has thus far rejected the chance to pen an extension at Old Trafford, with Juventus, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain all believed to be interested in signing him next year.

However, according to The Athletic, Rangnick's arrival as head coach for the remainder of the 2021-22 campaign has been well received by the World Cup winner.

The report claims that Pogba has received positive feedback on the German through his contacts in the game, and the 28-year-old is looking forward to playing under the new interim manager when he returns to fitness.

The former Le Havre youngster is believed to be open to the idea of penning a new deal at Old Trafford if the team show improvement in the second half of the season. body check tags ::
