How Barcelona could line up against Osasuna

Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up in Sunday's La Liga clash with Osasuna.

Barcelona will again be without the services of a number of first-team players for Sunday's La Liga contest with Osasuna.

Martin Braithwaite, Ansu Fati, Pedri, Sergi Roberto and Sergio Aguero were again absent against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday night and will all remain on the sidelines for this match.

Jordi Alba and Memphis Depay also picked up muscular problems against Bayern, with Oscar Mingueza in line to replace the experienced defender at left-back this weekend, while Yusuf Demir could feature as a false nine.

Head coach Xavi will need to determine whether Ousmane Dembele is fit enough to make another start this weekend due to the quick turnaround.

However, the Frenchman, who continues to be linked with a move away from Camp Nou, is likely to be in the XI unless he picks up any issues in training.

Sergino Dest might be moved into a right-back area, which would open the door for Gavi to be pushed further forward, with Nico Gonzalez potentially coming into the midfield.

Ronald Araujo could therefore move into a centre-back position alongside Gerard Pique, with the likes of Eric Garcia, Philippe Coutinho and Luuk de Jong featuring on the bench for Xavi's side.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Dest, Araujo, Pique, Mingueza; F de Jong, Busquets, Nico; Gavi, Demir, Dembele body check tags ::
