Brighton & Hove Albion 'lodge bid for Derby County's Scott Carson'

Brighton & Hove Albion reportedly table a bid for Derby County goalkeeper Scott Carson.

Brighton & Hove Albion have alleged made an offer for Derby County goalkeeper Scott Carson.

The Seagulls have tabled a £2.5m approach for the former England stopper, according to The Sun.

Derby are said to be keen to keep hold of Carson, and allegedly rejected a previous bid from Brighton.

Should Carson join Brighton, he would be up against Australia international Mathew Ryan and summer signing Jason Steele for first-team football.

Meanwhile, the Premier League outfit have also been linked with Sheffield United defender Jack O'Connell.
