Burnley bid £25m for West Bromwich Albion duo?

Burnley reportedly bid £25m for West Bromwich Albion pair Craig Dawson and Jay Rodriguez.

Burnley have reportedly bid for West Bromwich Albion duo Craig Dawson and Jay Rodriguez.

The Clarets finished seventh in the Premier League table last season, but Sean Dyche could turn to the relegated Baggies for new recruits this summer.

According to The Mirror, Burnley have offered £25m for the pair and want a quick answer to their opening bid.

The move would see Rodriguez return to Turf Moor where he started his senior career, while Dawson could be tempted by the prospect of Premier League football next season.

West Brom have already lost centre-back Jonny Evans after Leicester City activated the 30-year-old's release clause, while Salomon Rondon has been linked with a move to Newcastle United.
