Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Rosario Central forward Alejo Veliz.
The North Londoners have enjoyed a productive period in the transfer market, converting two loan deals into permanent stays and acquiring four other players for head coach Ange Postecoglou.
Earlier on Tuesday, Spurs announced that they had strengthened their backline with the addition of Wolfsburg defender Micky van de Ven.
Just hours after revealing the arrival of the Netherlands Under-21 international, the Premier League outfit have said that Veliz has become their latest new acquisition.
Nottingham Forest have reportedly switched their attentions to a move for Atalanta BC defender Merih Demiral.
Forest were linked with a move for fellow Serie A centre-back Roger Ibanez from Roma last week, but the Brazilian has opted for a move to Al Ahli.
The Daily Mail claims that Forest are set to offer around £17m for the Turkish international, as defensive numbers remain light ahead of the start of the season.
Demiral has fallen down the pecking order in Bergamo over the past 12 months, since making his loan move from Juventus permanent.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has not travelled to Barcelona for the club's final pre-season friendly, amid talks over a transfer to Bayern Munich.
The German club recently saw their third bid of £87m for Kane rejected by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, who has set the striker's asking price at £100m.
The latest offer was initially said to be Bayern's final proposal, but negotiations are still ongoing between the two clubs.
Bayern are currently weighing up whether to submit an improved bid, and there is a desire from those involved for a quick resolution.
"I am delighted Ryan has decided to join Ross County. At 25, he is a terrific age to join the club, and has experience abroad and domestically, which we hope to add to in the SPFL," said manager Malky Mackay.
"We have had to be patient to add some experience on the left-hand side of defence, but are delighted to be able to do that with Ryan".
Bayern Munich are reportedly weighing up whether to submit a fourth bid for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, who has set a deadline for a deal to be agreed.
The Bavarians have been pursuing the England captain throughout the summer, but they have been unsuccessful in their attempts to agree a transfer.
After having their first two bids rejected, Bayern submitted an improved £87m offer, which included a number of add-ons.
Their proposal was subsequently rejected by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, who is holding out for £100m and wants the majority of the fee to be paid upfront.
"At RKC Waalwijk, players get the chance to show themselves at the highest level, in addition, the club has proven several times that it can develop players," he told the club website.
General manager Frank van Mosselveld added: "After lengthy contact with Manchester City, there finally appeared to be an opening to bring him to Waalwijk on a rental basis. An opportunity we couldn't pass up. A player like Filip, with his attacking qualities, is an added value for us."
Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Micky van de Ven from Wolfsburg.
The centre-back has put pen to paper on a six-year deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, keeping him at the club until 2029.
Van de Ven was in attendance for Tottenham's 5-1 pre-season win over Shakhtar Donetsk last weekend ahead of finalising the terms of his switch.
The fee to take the 22-year-old to North London is thought to be worth around £43m.
Napoli reportedly join a number of Premier League clubs in the race to sign Celta Vigo playmaker Gabri Veiga.
After playing a starring role for the Spanish outfit during 2022-23, Veiga has emerged as a target for a wide array of teams due to the £34.5m release clause in his contract.
However, despite his known value and the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea allegedly monitoring the situation, a deal is yet to materialise.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Napoli have made an effort to move in front of the English giants as they look to make an eye-catching signing ahead of their Serie A title defence.
Newcastle United have completed the signing of Tino Livramento from Southampton.
The 20-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year contract at St James' Park, keeping him at the club until 2028.
The transfer fee remains undisclosed, but is thought to be worth around £40m.
Livramento joined Southampton from Chelsea in 2021 and quickly established himself as a first-team regular at St Mary's before suffering a serious injury that forced him to miss the majority of last season.
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly contemplating whether to propose a part-exchange deal for Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson.
While Spurs can claim to have enjoyed a productive transfer window on the incoming front, speculation regarding Harry Kane's future means that their forward line remains incomplete.
Argentine frontman Alejo Veliz is on the brink of arriving at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, yet Ange Postecoglou has ambitions to make further changes in attack.
The level of those alterations may be dependent on what materialises with Kane, the latest development seeing Spurs reject an improved bid from Bayern Munich.
Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly made it clear that he does not want Neymar as part of his first-team squad this season.
While the Blues have endured a chaotic summer, through necessity more so than choice, it has also been productive with Pochettino seeing a wide array of talent depart Stamford Bridge.
Robert Sanchez, Axel Disasi, Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson have also arrived to bolstered his senior ranks, other additions currently bidding to impress before the end of August.
If reports are to be believed, Chelsea's remaining focus is on at least one experienced central midfielder and a versatile attacker who can play in a number of roles in the final third.
Paris Saint-Germain have announced the signing of Benfica forward Goncalo Ramos.
The Ligue 1 giants have enjoyed a productive 2023-24 summer transfer window, acquiring a mixture of eight players that have been earmarked for the present and future.
However, at a time when Lionel Messi has departed on a free transfer and PSG want to part ways with Kylian Mbappe, securing the services of a new frontman was imperative.
While the likes of Victor Osimhen, Harry Kane and Dusan Vlahovic have all been linked with a switch to Parc des Princes, the French outfit have instead decided to press ahead with the addition of Ramos.
