Former Wigan Athletic player Andy Delort has reportedly been arrested after being seated alongside a drunk driver who refused to stop for police.

The 26-year-old Toulouse player was loaned to Montpellier until the end of the season with an option to buy earlier this summer.

According to Midi Libre, Delort was sitting in the passenger seat of his own car as the driver steered recklessly in the streets of France.

The report adds that Delort told the police officer "I don't give a fuck, I earn £135,000 a month" after his vehicle was pulled over.

The Frenchman could now face charges for making threats to a person in authority.
