Ipswich Town set to hijack Wigan Athletic's Jordan Graham deal

Ipswich Town are reportedly poised to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Jordan Graham.

Ipswich Town are reportedly ready to hijack a loan move for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Jordan Graham, not long after he agreed a move to Wigan Athletic.

The 23-year-old was poised to exit Molineux and sign for the Latics, but it has surfaced that the newly-promoted Championship side cannot seal the deal.

According to the East Anglian Times, Wigan manager Paul Cook will have to offload another player if they want to complete the signing of the Wolves winger, which has opened the path for Ipswich to intervene.

The newspaper adds that Town manager Paul Hurst wants direct and exciting wingers to be a big feature in the coming season and Graham will tick that box.

The 23-year-old spent a short time on loan with the Tractor Boys in 2013, making just two substitute appearances for then-boss Mick McCarthy's side.
