Newcastle United, West Ham United interested in Miguel Almiron?

Newcastle United and West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Atlanta United midfielder Miguel Almiron.

Atlanta United midfielder Miguel Almiron has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for both Newcastle United and West Ham United.

The two Premier League sides have showed differing levels of ambition during the summer window, but it appears that they each want to add playmaker Almiron to their respective squads.

According to The Sun, talks are being held with the representatives of the 24-year-old regarding a potential £10m deal before the new season.

However, it has been suggested that Atlanta would prefer to sell in the New Year rather than in the coming weeks, with the Paraguay international impressing in the MLS.

Almiron - who has earned 12 caps for his country - has contributed eight goals and nine assists from just 21 appearances during the current campaign.
