West Bromwich Albion's Matt Phillips 'wanted by trio'

West Bromwich Albion attacker Matt Phillips is wanted by Cardiff City, Newcastle United and Middlesbrough this summer, according to a report.

West Bromwich Albion attacker Matt Phillips is reportedly wanted by Cardiff City, Newcastle United and Middlesbrough ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

Phillips joined West Brom from Queens Park Rangers in 2016, and has scored eight times in 63 appearances for the Baggies in all competitions.

The 27-year-old still has 18 months left to run on his contract at The Hawthorns, but it is understood that he is considering a move away from the club in this summer's transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail, Premier League duo Cardiff and Newcastle are both interested in the attacker, while Middlesbrough also want the 12-time Scotland international to boost their Championship promotion hopes.

Phillips scored three times and registered three assists in 34 appearances for West Brom last season.
