Swansea City 'reject Fulham's £8m bid for Jordan Ayew'

Swansea City turn down an £8m bid from Fulham for Jordan Ayew, according to a report.

Swansea City have reportedly turned down an £8m bid from Fulham for Jordan Ayew.

On Wednesday, it was claimed that Fulham had opened talks with Swansea over a possible deal for the Ghana international in this summer's transfer window.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the Welsh outfit have turned down the £8m bid from the promoted Cottagers.

Ayew scored 11 times in all competitions for the Swans last season - including seven in the Premier League, but he could not prevent the club from being relegated to the Championship.

The attacker, who has also been linked with a move to Scottish champions Celtic, has two years left to run on his contract at the Liberty Stadium.
