The forward's first-ever experience of facing Girona actually ended in a defeat, with Real Madrid losing 2-1 at home to the Catalan side in the second half of the 2018-19 La Liga campaign.
Vinicius' first goal against Girona came at Bernabeu in a 1-1 draw in October 2022, while he scored and provided an assist in the reverse match, which Girona won 4-2 in front of their own supporters.
The attacker's best-ever display against Girona came last season, when he scored and provided two assists in Real Madrid's 4-0 success at Bernabeu, while he also helped Los Blancos win the reverse game 3-0.
