Winger Vinicius Junior claims that key decisions went against Real Madrid during their 2-1 defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Vinicius Junior has claimed that Real Madrid teammate Sergio Ramos was harshly sent off during the club's 2-1 defeat against Manchester City on Wednesday night.

Real had appeared on course to take a slender advantage to the Etihad Stadium next month after Isco had given his team the lead in the Champions League last-16 tie.

However, late goals from Gabriel Jesus and Kevin de Bruyne earned City a dramatic triumph, with Real's disappointment being compounded by the dismissal of Sergio Ramos.

Speaking after the match, Vinicius felt that the veteran should have received a free kick, rather than it be deemed that he had committed a professional foul on Jesus when the Brazilian was through on goal.

The Brazilian told AS: "Everyone knows that Gabriel Jesus fouled Ramos. The decisions always go against us."

As a result of the red card, Ramos's 26th of his career, the defender will now miss the fixture in England on March 17.
