Manchester United to sell two players to fund deal for Jadon Sancho?

By , Senior Reporter | 3d
Manchester United will offload the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku if it means freeing up funds to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, a report claims.

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to sell two of their big-money men in order to fund a deal for Borussia Dortmund youngster Jadon Sancho.

The England international has been in superb form for Dortmund in his second season at the club, having joined from Manchester City in August 2017.

Sancho's valuation continues to climb after scoring eight goals and setting up a further 13 in 30 games this term, earning him three caps for the Three Lions towards the end of 2018.

Having snapped up the 18-year-old for just £7m, Dortmund can now expect bids upwards of £70m when the summer transfer window opens.

Spanish outlet Don Balon suggests that it may even take a nine-figure sum to prise him away from the Westfalenstadion, but that is not enough to put off the Red Devils.

United are willing to offload the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku to free up money for Sancho, it is claimed, with the pair - among others - deemed dispensable.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed earlier this week that he was interested in signing Sancho from City before he left for Dortmund.
