Manchester United are reportedly lining up a January loan move for Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele.

The Red Devils were strongly linked with the France international over the summer but were unable to agree a deal with Ronald Koeman's side before the window closed.

The 23-year-old has been a regular for Barca this season, scoring three times and providing one assist in nine appearances in all competitions, but the World Cup winner's long-term future at Camp Nou is unclear.

Dembele's existing deal with the La Liga giants is due to expire in June 2022, and Juventus are believed to be keeping a close eye on the developments surrounding the attacker.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, United are not interested in signing the Frenchman on a permanent deal in January but will attempt to loan him for the second half of the 2020-21 campaign.

Dembele has largely struggled with injuries since arriving at Camp Nou but has now been involved in Barca's last five La Liga matches, playing the full 90 minutes against Atletico Madrid last weekend. body check tags ::
