Stoke City looking to bring in Liverpool's Sheyi Ojo for Xherdan Shaqiri?

Stoke City reportedly indicate that they would like to sign Sheyi Ojo on loan with Xherdan Shaqiri close to sealing a switch to Anfield.

Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Stoke City.

After Stoke's relegation from the Premier League, Xherdan Shaqiri will leave the bet365 Stadium this summer and Liverpool are said to be closing in on a deal.

According to The Sun, that has resulted in Stoke asking for a player in return with Ojo said to be on the radar of boss Gary Rowett.

Ojo has made a total of 13 first-team appearances for the Merseyside giants, but the last campaign was spent on loan at Fulham where four goals came in 22 outings in the Championship.

The report suggests that the Potters are keen to secure a similar deal, with Rowett looking to add the 21-year-old to his attacking ranks ahead of the upcoming campaign.
