Ipswich Town interested in Rangers forward Josh Windass?

Ipswich Town are interested in signing Rangers forward Josh Windass, according to reports.

Ipswich Town are reportedly interested in signing Rangers forward Josh Windass.

The 24-year-old joined the Hoops in 2016 and has since gone on to score 19 goals in 79 appearances for the Glasgow side.

According to Football Insider, Town have made a £2m bid for Windass as they look to replace striker Martyn Waghorn, who reportedly underwent a medical with Derby County on Monday.

However, the report also says that new Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is keen to keep hold of the Englishman as he looks to challenge city rivals Celtic this season.

Ipswich have until Thursday to find a replacement for Waghorn should the player depart for Derby.
