Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar is reportedly keen to secure a return to Barcelona this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar reportedly requests a return to Barcelona during the summer transfer window.

Neymar has just come to the end of his second campaign at Parc des Princes, helping PSG to back-to-back Ligue 1 crowns with a total of 34 goals from 37 outings since August 2017.

However, the Brazilian has been strongly linked with a return to La Liga, and Sport claims that the 27-year-old wants to be provided with a second spell at Camp Nou.

The report says that Neymar has encouraged Barcelona to make an approach for his services, despite the two clubs possessing a strained relationship behind the scenes.

Neymar still has three years left on his contract at the French club, who will be wary that they may lose out financially should the world-record signing fail to pen fresh terms over the next 18 months.

Barcelona legend Rivaldo has recently suggested that the addition of Neymar could lead to the Catalan giants ending their wait to win another Champions League trophy.
