Barcelona legend Rivaldo has suggested that Neymar should attempt to secure a return to Camp Nou.

Neymar has just ended his second season at Paris Saint-Germain, but speculation remains over another spell in La Liga with Real Madrid.

However, Rivaldo feels that Barcelona should try to secure a reunion with the attacker, claiming that the 27-year-old could prove to be the difference when it comes to winning the Champions League for the first time since 2015.

On Instagram, Rivaldo said: "I believe Brazil will win the Copa America with a certain ease. I do not see any team that can win other than Brazil, especially with the return of Neymar, who for me will be the best player in the competition.

"He will be hungry for the ball and will show what he is capable of doing. Another thing that would have to happen is his return to Barcelona, which would be a great signing for the club mainly for everything that happened at the end of this season.

"He is in my humble opinion the missing player for Barcelona to be champion of the Champions League. He has personality and a lot of quality to win back Barcelona and also can be the best in the world."

Neymar scored 103 goals from 182 appearances during his four-year spell with the Catalan giants between 2013 and 2017.
