Barcelona's players are reportedly firmly behind Philippe Coutinho despite the Brazilian's problems this term.

Coutinho, who joined Barcelona from Liverpool in January 2018, has scored 18 times in 54 appearances for the Spanish champions since arriving at Camp Nou.

The 26-year-old has largely struggled for consistency in Spain, however, and has managed just four league goals for the Catalan giants during the 2018-19 campaign.

Manchester United and Chelsea have both been linked with moves for the South American, but according to Sport, the Barcelona are squad are confident that Coutinho will come good.

Indeed, the report has claimed that the attacker has the full support of the dressing room, while head coach Ernesto Valverde is also convinced that the former Liverpool playmaker will soon show his best form.

Barcelona will be looking to return to winning ways when they travel to Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, having drawn their last two fixtures against Valencia and Real Madrid in the league and Copa del Rey respectively.
