Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak is keen to sign a new contract at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has revealed that he is keen to sign a new contract at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Oblak, who joined Atletico from Benfica in 2014, has developed into one of the best stoppers in European football over the last couple of seasons.

The 26-year-old's form this term has once again been impressive, keeping clean sheets in exactly half of his 24 La Liga appearances during the 2018-19 campaign.

The Slovenia international will see his current deal expire in 2021 but has revealed that he would be "very happy" to pen a new contract with Atletico.

"I have a contract until 2021. I am calm, focused on the field," Oblak told reporters. "I have said it many times: I am happy here. If, in the end, I sign an extension, I will be very happy."

Oblak has incredibly kept 108 clean sheets in his 193 appearances for Atletico in all competitions.
