Madonna to re-record Frozen after TikTok success
Madonna reportedly re-records 'Frozen' - a number one from 1998 - with rapper Swae Lee after it goes viral on TikTok.

Madonna has reportedly decided to re-record her 1998 hit 'Frozen' after it became a surprise hit on social media app TikTok.

The 63-year-old hit the top spot in the charts with the track 23 years ago but it has found a new audience on TikTok, with users performing their own routines to the melancholic track.

According to The Sun, the song's resurgence in popularity has prompted the Queen of Pop to produce a new version with US rapper Swae Lee.

A source told the newspaper: "Madonna has always been an artist who has adapted and moved with the times, which is why she is still proving popular after almost 40 years.

"One of the projects she worked on with Swae Lee was a new version of Frozen.

"The remix has been used on loads of TikTok videos and she is hoping that by getting Swae Lee involved it will help the song reach new audiences.

"It has been a bit of a scramble to get things sorted but they ideally want to get it out as soon as possible."

Madonna ranks as the best-selling female music artist of all time, with over 300 million records sold worldwide.
