Porto defender Alex Telles reportedly wants to complete a transfer to Manchester United before the end of the week.

The 27-year-old represented the Portuguese giants as recently as the weekend, contributing two goals during a 3-1 victory over Braga.

However, with less than a year remaining on his contract, Porto are allegedly willing to allow the Brazilian to depart Estadio do Dragao for £20m.

While his current side and United are yet to settle on a price, The Guardian suggests that Telles is hopeful of sealing a switch to Old Trafford over the coming days.

The attack-minded left-back would prefer to sign for the Premier League giants, rather than consider a switch to European rivals Paris Saint-Germain.

Telles is expected to become first choice at United, moving ahead of Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams in the pecking order.
