Barcelona are reportedly closing in on the signing of Ajax defender Sergino Dest.
The Catalan giants are in the market for a new right-back, having allowed Portugal international Nelson Semedo to complete a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Bayern Munich have also been strongly linked with Dest, who scored twice and provided six assists in 36 appearances for his Dutch club during the 2019-20 campaign.
However, according to the Mundo Deportivo, Barca are nearing the capture of the 19-year-old, having agreed a €20m (£18m) deal with Ajax for the transfer of the United States international.
Dest, who has a contract in Amsterdam for another two years, has already made three Eredivisie appearances during the early stages of the 2020-21 campaign.
Semedo's exit means that Sergi Roberto is currently Barca's only senior right-back. body check tags ::
