Jose Mourinho is allegedly becoming frustrated with Tottenham Hotspur's efforts to sign an experienced alternative to Harry Kane.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly become frustrated with Tottenham Hotspur's bid to bring in an experienced alternative to Harry Kane.

Spurs recently announced a reunion with Gareth Bale, who has returned to North London after spending seven years at Real Madrid.

However, despite the Wales international being able to play down the middle, he is not viewed as direct competition for Kane.

According to The Sun, Mourinho is unhappy that club officials have not secured backup to the club's primary frontman.

With Spurs overloaded with players who can play in midfield, the report suggests that the Portuguese is frustrated with the current balance of his squad.

Spurs may have to part ways with at least one player in order to boost their efforts to meet Mourinho's demands.
