How Manchester United could line up against Southampton

:Headline: How Manchester United could line up against Southampton:
Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up in Monday's Premier League clash with Southampton.

Manchester United will continue their pursuit of a top-four finish in the Premier League when they welcome Southampton to Old Trafford on Monday night.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have won each of their last four in the league during an excellent run and are currently fifth in the table, just a point behind fourth-placed Leicester City.

The Red Devils will enter the match off the back of a 3-0 win at Aston Villa on Thursday, where Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood and Paul Pogba were all on the scoresheet.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the 20-time English champions could line up against Southampton, who have won three of their five matches since returning to the field last month.

Out: Axel Tuanzebe (unspecified), Phil Jones (knock)

Solskjaer has named an unchanged side for the club's last four Premier League matches, and there is a strong chance that the exact same XI could take to the field for a fifth successive game on Monday night.

Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones remain on the sidelines through injury, but the Red Devils otherwise have a fully-fit squad, handing Solskjaer a number of options across the park.

The Red Devils boss has suggested that he is reluctant to change a winning side, though, meaning that Greenwood is set for another start down the right, having been in excellent form since the league's restart.

Nemanja Matic has also regained the trust of his manager and is set to continue alongside Pogba in midfield, with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial also featuring in the final third.

A back problem threatened to rule Victor Lindelof out of the Villa game on Thursday, but the Swede was able to play the full 90 minutes at Villa Park and should continue alongside Harry Maguire at the back.

Perhaps the only question mark surrounds Matic's involvement, with Solskjaer potentially recalling either Fred or Scott McTominay in order to give the Serbian a rest. body check tags ::
