Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo has insisted that he has no plans to stand down from his role with the Old Lady.

I Bianconeri have already conceded the Serie A title to Inter Milan, and Sunday's 3-0 home defeat to AC Milan has left them in fifth spot in the table, one point behind fourth-placed Napoli.

Pirlo's future is currently being called into question, with Juve allegedly lining up Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane as a possible replacement for the former midfielder.

However, the 41-year-old, who has won 30, drawn 10 and lost eight of his 48 matches at the helm, has said that he has no plans to walk away from his position.

"I'm not thinking of resigning, I've no plans to resign - my work continues despite the difficulties. I will go on as long as I am allowed by the club," Pirlo told Sky Italia.

Juve, who were surprisingly knocked out of this season's Champions League by Porto, will be looking to return to winning ways in Serie A when they head to Sassuolo on Wednesday night. body check tags ::
