Everton are reportedly considering a January move for Lazio attacker Luis Alberto.

The 28-year-old only recently signed a new contract with his Italian club and has been a key player for Simone Inzaghi's side this term, already making seven appearances in all competitions.

Alberto has previously experienced English football, representing Liverpool between 2013 and 2016, although he only made 12 appearances for the Reds in all competitions.

According to Il Tempo, Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is keen to bring another playmaker to Goodison Park in January and has identified Alberto as a possible acquisition.

The Spain international has scored 27 times and registered 44 assists in 142 outings for Lazio since joining the club on a permanent deal from Liverpool.

Everton will be looking to end a three-game losing run in the Premier League when they continue their campaign away to struggling Fulham on Sunday afternoon. body check tags ::
