Chelsea are reportedly firmly interested in re-signing Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku this summer.

The 27-year-old has been in strong form for Inter during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 26 times in 35 appearances in all competitions, while he has netted 60 goals in 86 outings for the Italian giants since arriving from Manchester United in August 2019.

A recent report claimed that Antonio Conte's side had placed a €120m (£102m) valuation on the Belgium international amid suggestions that Chelsea and Manchester City both want to sign him.

According to Calciomercato, the Blues are lining up a move for Lukaku as they consider alternatives to Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland, who is said to be a target for a number of leading European clubs.

The former Anderlecht youngster initially represented the Blues between 2011 and 2014 but turned out for the club on just 15 occasions in all competitions before moving on.

Lukaku's current deal at San Siro is due to run until the summer of 2024.
