Cast members from Hollyoaks are spotted filming episodes on location in Mallorca for Luke's stag do storyline.

The cast of Hollyoaks have been spotted filming a series of special episodes on location in Mallorca as part of a 'heartbreaking' new storyline.

Paparazzi pictures published in the Daily Star reveal that cast members Gary Lucy (Luke), Nick Pickard (Tony), Ellis Hollins (Tom), Stephanie Waring (Cindy), Kelly Condron (Zara) and Haiesha Mistry (Yazz) are on the Spanish island for the episodes, which will follow Luke on his stag do.

"There has been a buzz about this trip ever since we were told it was happening," Condron told the newspaper.

"There will be lots of fun and lots of laughs. And just as you're enjoying yourself, we're going to break your heart."

Hollins added: "It's going to feel different to a normal episode. There's going to be a lot of action. It's very intense."

Show producer Kieron O'Sullivan said: "We are under time pressure. We're filming 8am to 8pm every day to get everything done.

"Noise and weather are the biggest problems we face when we're on location like this.

"But sometimes you have to just let it go because we can't afford to drop scenes. You can always fix things in the edit."

In a recent episode of the soap, viewers learned in a flashforward that Luke will be killed off in the coming months, although it is unclear if the Mallorca episodes will play a part of the character's exit.
