The Dallas Cowboys have acquired running back Christine Michael from the Seattle Seahawks.

The 24-year-old was selected in the second round of the 2013 Draft, but struggled to break into the starting lineup behind All-Pro Marshawn Lynch.

Dallas were looking to bolster their backfield following the departure of DeMarco Murray in the off-season and sent a seventh-round selection in the 2016 Draft to acquire Michael's services from the Seahawks.

Michael rushed for 254 yards in his 14 games for Pete Carroll's men.
