Defensive tackle Marcell Dareus signs a six-year, $100m extension with the Buffalo Bills.

The Buffalo Bills have signed Marcell Dareus to a six-year, $100m (£64.7m) contract.

The defensive tackle had been looking for a similar contract to what Ndamukong Suh received from the Miami Dolphins during free agency, and his new deal includes $60m (£38.8m) in guarantees.

The 25-year-old has been voted to consecutive Pro Bowls and made the NFL All-Pro team in 2014, but admitted in August that he was not sure if the Bills still wanted him after contract talks had stalled.

Dareus will miss the Bills' opening game against the Indianapolis Colts after being suspended for one match after violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
