The Baltimore Ravens complete a deal to sign free agent linebacker Jason Babin to bolster their defense following Terrell Suggs's season-ending injury.

The Baltimore Ravens have signed free agent linebacker Jason Babin to their 53-man roster.

The AFC North side will be without defensive captain Terrell Suggs for the rest of the season after he tore his Achilles tendon in the club's season-opening defeat to the Denver Broncos.

John Harbaugh's men have moved to sign Babin, following his release by the New York Jets, to bolster their pass-rush for the rest of the season.

The 35-year-old has recorded 372 tackles, 64.5 sacks and 14 forced fumbles in his 11-year NFL career.
