Former Manchester United winger Nani reportedly got into a fight with a group of Lazio supporters following a dismal performance on the pitch.
The 31-year-old made a cameo appearance by coming on as a second-half substitute in the team's 2-2 draw Cagliari on Sunday.
According to Corriere dello Sport, fans were angered by the Portugal international's performance, and the discontent spilled over ahead of Lazio's flight back to Rome.
The publication reports that Nani got into a physical altercation with a group of fans and had to be pulled away from the melee by teammates Lucas Leiva and Wallace.
The ex-United player has made 13 appearances in La Liga so far this season, but only one of those has been from the starting spot.
