Tottenham Hotspur defender Sergio Reguilon is allegedly the subject of interest from one of his former clubs.
The left-back has endured a largely frustrating stint at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since joining from Real Madrid in 2020.
As well as just 72 appearances having been made in all competitions, Reguilon has spent three loan stints away from the North Londoners.
Although the Spain international has made three outings under Ange Postecoglou since the turn of the year, it has been purely down to the size of the club's injury list.
Reguilon's contract is due to expire at the end of the season and there is no prospect of a renewal being handed to the 28-year-old.
Which former club is chasing Reguilon?
Logrones, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and Brentford all feature among Reguilon's former employers
However, according to Orgullo Biri, it is Sevilla who have identified Reguilon as a potential addition later in 2025.
The report suggests that the ex-Los Nervionenses loanee is at the top of their shortlist as they bid to strengthen in the left-back area.
Adria Pedrosa is currently the first-choice pick in that role, with Kike Salas among those who add depth in the position and can deputise when required.
Brighton & Hove Albion loanee Valentin Barco had been an option before the young Argentine departed the club in January.
Which other clubs are interested?
Turkish giants Galatasaray and Besiktas are each said to be monitoring the situation ahead of making their own approach.
Nevertheless, it is suggested that a return to Spain with Sevilla is by far the most likely option at this stage.
During 2019-20, Reguilon contributed three goals and five assists from 38 appearances for the club in all competitions.
That form, which included five successive starts in the latter stages of Sevilla's Europa-League-winning campaign, led to his £27.5m move to Spurs.
