Report: Mousa Dembele to quit Tottenham Hotspur in January

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele will reportedly join Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan in the New Year.

Mousa Dembele is to leave Tottenham Hotspur in January for a big-money move to Chinese club Beijing Guoan, according to a report.

The Belgian midfielder is due to be out of contract at the end of the season and does not look likely to agree fresh terms.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is happy to sanction the sale of any player who wants to leave North London, and The Sun claims that Guoan are confident of nabbing the 31-year-old at the second attempt.

Guoan are said to have had a bid rejected for Dembele in February, but Tottenham are more willing to do business this time around.

The report suggests that Spurs will be offered between £8m and £10m for the former Fulham ace, who will be on wages of around £192,000 a week once completing his switch.
