Fulham, Crystal Palace 'enter Jack Grealish race'

Fulham and Crystal Palace reportedly join Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa this summer.

Fulham and Crystal Palace have both reportedly contacted Aston Villa to enquire about the availability of midfielder Jack Grealish this summer.

Grealish has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks, although Spurs are understood to have purposefully stalled the talks in an attempt to drive the price down due to Villa's financial worries.

However, those money issues have been eased by recent investment from Egyptian billionaire Nassef Sawiris and American businessman Wes Edens, meaning that Villa are no longer in such a rush to sell.

Grealish is still expected to leave this summer with Villa needing to comply with Financial Fair Play rules, and The Mirror reports that Fulham and Crystal Palace have now entered the race for his signature.

Newly-promoted Fulham are understood to be the most interested of the two teams, but Grealish's preference remains Spurs if a fee can be agreed between the clubs.

The 22-year-old, who would provide competition for Dele Alli in North London, is reportedly keen to join Tottenham's other young English players under Mauricio Pochettino.
