Harry Kane: 'Tottenham Hotspur played really well against Fulham'

Harry Kane is pleased that Tottenham Hotspur "played really well" in Saturday's 3-1 Premier League win over Fulham at Wembley Stadium.

Harry Kane has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur "played really well" in Saturday's 3-1 win over Fulham at Wembley Stadium.

The hosts opened the scoring through Lucas Moura's first Premier League goal just before the break but were pegged back on 52 minutes when Aleksandar Mitrovic nodded in from close range.

Spurs rallied round and struck twice in three second-half minutes, Kieran Trippier netting from a free kick and Kane breaking his August scoring duck with a far-corner strike.

"I thought we played really well and we created a lot of chances," Kane told Sky Sports News. "But credit to Fulham, and only after about 60 minutes did we start to take it into more dangerous areas.

"It looked like it would be one of those days for me, but that is the game of a striker.

"We have been playing with each other for a long time this team. The gaffer has said he is not going to just bring in players for the sake of it. It is a good start with two wins out of two."

Spurs are on a run of 19 consecutive home Premier League victories against newly promoted opponents, conceding just twice in their past 10 matches.
