Napoli have carved out a 2-0 victory away at Sampdoria to return to winning ways in Serie A, but it was all in vain as Juventus wrapped up the title elsewhere on Sunday night.

The Partenopei had lost to Sampdoria and drawn with Torino in their last two matches and, although they claimed three points at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, they could not take the title race down to the final weekend as Juventus picked up the point they needed at Roma.

Arkadiusz Milik and Raul Albiol netted in the final quarter of the game for Napoli, who closed the gap on Juve to four points with one game left to play.
