Isco 'wants to leave Real Madrid'

By , European Football Editor | 5d
Real Madrid midfielder Isco wants to leave the Bernabeu having fallen out of favour once again, according to a report.

Real Madrid midfielder Isco is reportedly desperate to leave the Bernabeu after falling out of favour once again.

Isco scored nine times in 49 appearances for Madrid during the 2017-18 campaign, with the Spain international a key player in Zinedine Zidane's first XI.

The 26-year-old has been out of favour since Santiago Solari took the reins last month, however, and has played the full 90 minutes of a La Liga match on just one occasion this term.

Isco did spend time on the sidelines earlier this season following an appendix operation, but he has only played a bit-part role in recent weeks.

According to Don Balon, Isco is once again frustrated at the Bernabeu, and the versatile attacker will seek a move away from the club in the January transfer window.

Earlier this month, it was claimed that Isco has been "clashing with the heavyweights in the dressing room" at Madrid this season.
