Real Madrid considering Luis Campos appointment?

:Headline: Real Madrid considering Luis Campos appointment?:
Real Madrid are reportedly considering former Lille sporting director Luis Campos to return to the club where he was a scout between 2012 and 2013.

Real Madrid have reportedly identified former Lille sporting director Luis Campos as a potential target as part of Los Blancos' summer rebuild.

The Spanish giants have endured a trophyless campaign under Zinedine Zidane this season, and a squad overhaul is expected to take place at the Bernabeu in the coming months.

Campos left his role with Lille earlier this year during a restructure at the French club following a change in ownership, and prior to that between 2013 and 2016, the 56-year-old helped recruit the Monaco side who claimed the Ligue 1 title from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Mirror reports that Real Madrid are considering a potential role for Campos, who has previously worked for Los Blancos as a scout during the 2012-13 campaign.

Real Madrid have been linked with a move for PSG's Kylian Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland, however the club is also known to be heavily in debt and funds may have to be raised through selling some current players.

Campos may not be appointed as sporting director at Real Madrid, but could potentially be given an advisory role within the club.
