Dani Ceballos wants to learn from Luka Modric, Toni Kroos

Dani Ceballos says that he 'wants to be like Real Madrid midfielders Luka Modric and Toni Kroos' after completing a move to the Bernabeu.

New Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has revealed that he 'wants to be like Los Blancos duo Luka Modric and Toni Kroos' as the Spaniard bids to make his mark at the Bernabeu.

The 20-year-old officially joined Madrid last week, with the Spanish champions beating the likes of Barcelona and Juventus to the signing of the Real Betis midfielder.

Ceballos has said that he is aware of the "huge expectations" that will be placed upon him, and the Spain Under-21 international is looking forward to 'learning from his new teammates'.

"I am a young player who has huge expectations to fulfil. I am here to learn from fantastic players and to grow alongside them; the players here are at the highest level so naturally I want to learn from them," Ceballos told reporters. "One day, I want to be like Luka and Toni because I want to be part of this club's proud and amazing history."

Ceballos scored twice and registered two assists in 30 La Liga appearances for Betis during the 2016-17 campaign.
