Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has slammed Ronald Koeman's treatment in the aftermath of El Clasico, with the Barcelona manager having his car attacked by a small number of the Catalan outfit's fans.

Los Blancos recorded a 2-1 victory at Camp Nou, with David Alaba and Lucas Vazquez on the scoresheet for the capital giants, while Sergio Aguero netted a late consolation for the home side.

After the contest, a number of Barcelona fans were seen attacking Koeman's car as the Dutchman attempted to leave the stadium, with many supporters surrounding his vehicle to show their frustrations at the result.

Ancelotti has said that the incident involving his fellow manager shows "we have a problem in society".

"He's not a coach, he's a person whose job is a coach," Ancelotti told reporters. "Such lack of respect means we have a problem in society."

Koeman's future remains the subject of much speculation, but it does not appear that the Dutchman is in any immediate danger of losing his job despite a disappointing start to the season for the club. body check tags ::
